Welcome to the signed pictures and autographs page. Here you will find signed photographs of some of your favorite magicians. They are NOT reproductions or copies. These are all GENUINE, HAND SIGNED photographs.
So why not add that special touch to the office or den!
Some
of the pictures have not scanned tremendously well, particually the B&W
pics. My lacking computer skills im afraid.
But rest assured the pictures are all crystal clear ian in perfect condition
unless stated otherwise!
Also if you look below you may find other autographs of famous film stars... Guess what one of my hobbies has been for the last ....Years!
Dice:
Deception, Fate and Rotten Luck -
Ricky Jay, photographs by Rosamond Purcell
Ricky
Jay knows his dice. A sleight-of-hand-performer who is appearing on Broadway
in 'On the Stem', a one-man show directed by David Mamet (in whose movies
Jay has appeared frequently), Jay here presents a light, digressive history
of dice, from "astragali" (or "heel bones," as mentioned
in an Indian epic poem) to how they are loaded for cheating. Dipping into
everything from Viking allegory to the 1820 writings of the Rev. Charles
Caleb Colton (an eventual ruined gambler and suicide), Jay's anecdotes
are colorful but meandering: a description of a 1501 Florentine gambler
named Antonio Rinaldeschi eases into a recollection of the outcry at the
Brooklyn Museum over Chris Ofili's dung-festooned Holy Virgin Mary.
Chapters such as
"Dice and Death" and "The Palengenesis of Craps" are
complemented by Rosamond Wolff Purcell's 13 color photographs of beautifully
decayed dice (when dice age, they can be chipped and crusted, appearing
to be made of salt or ice). These portraits of chance's end reveal visually
what Jay tells us verbally: dice are as inherently complex and frail as
people. 64

The third and final poster produced to date for a David Blaine stunt is also available in limited quantities. Dai Vernon And Richard Turner Poster (Signed)
This richly colored poster features two of the all-time great magicians: Dai Vernon and Richard Turner!

Dai Vernon is known as The Man Who Fooled Houdini. Harry Houdini challenged anyone to try and fool him with a trick and claimed that if he could see the trick performed 3 times he would be able to figure it out. Dai Vernon met this challenge, and after performing an old version of The Ambitious Card eight times, Houdini was at a loss for how the trick was done.
When it comes to card manipulation, Richard Turner is in a class of his own! He performs the most difficult card moves out there, and he has been written about and featured on television specials all over the world. An expert card mechanic, Richard Turner has also trained in many martial arts styles and is a fifth-degree black belt. His life story is quite compelling, to say the least, and he has been called the Greatest Card Mechanic Of All Time.
